Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams (quad) will not play in the Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Rams, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Adams suffered a torn quad on September 12 in the team's season-opener against the Denver Broncos. He was recently activated from the PUP (Physically Unable To Perform) list but evidently isn't ready to take the field in a real game. The hard-hitting safety could be released after this season without much financial consequence to the organization, so he needs a bounce-back year to solidify himself as a key piece of Seattle's talented secondary.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
