Jalen Hurts Unlikely To Play In Week 17?
2 years agoESPN.com's Dan Graziano doesn't think the Philadelphia Eagles gave any real consideration to let quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) play in Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys, and Graziano would be surprised if Hurts plays in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints. The real decision could end up being whether to let him play in Week 18 against the New York Giants so that he hasn't had five weeks off before the Divisional round of the playoffs (assuming they secure a first-round bye in the NFC). The Eagles seem to believe they'll get Hurts back before their first playoff game, but they still aren't sure about the extent to which the injury will affect him once he returns. Fantasy managers hoping to have the MVP front-runner available this weekend shouldn't get their hopes up. It will probably be Gardner Minshew Mania for at least another week.
