Jaguars Sign Josh Wells
2 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive lineman Josh Wells to an undisclosed deal earlier this week, according to the team. The 32-year-old spent the last four seasons with the Buccaneers after starting his career with the Jaguars in 2014 as an undrafted free agent. Wells spent five years in Jacksonville before heading to Tampa. He has spent time working as both a left tackle and right tackle in the NFL, primarily playing right tackle for the Bucs. He played in 11 games (seven starts) for Tampa last year and ended the season on Injured Reserve due to a torn patellar tendon in Week 16. It's unclear when he'll be able to return, but he'll give the Jags more depth at both tackle spots.
