Jacoby Brissett Impresses In Relief During Week 15 Loss
12 months agoWashington Commanders quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed eight of 10 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Although Brissett entered the game late, he ended up leading Washington in passing yards and touchdowns. That may be an indication of how poor quarterback Sam Howell was playing, but the journeyman provided a spark during Washington's comeback attempt. Unfortunately, head coach Ron Rivera has already committed to Howell as next week's starter, so fans probably won't get to see this offense completely humming for a full game. Without a starting job, Brissett isn't a name to monitor as we enter Week 16.
