Jacksonville Jaguars 2019 Outlook: Return to Prominence?
6 years agoOne year removed from being the stand alone top defense in fantasy, the 2018 season was a large disappointment for owners. Many owners drafted them fairly early only to see them finish as the 23rd defense in fantasy scoring (89 FP). After finishing as a top-10 scoring defense in virtually every category in 2017, the team fell to 22nd in key areas such as forced turnovers and sacks. They still managed to finish top-five in yards and points allowed showing a glimmer of hope for the new season. Heading into 2019, the team brings back most of the starters from last season. The question is whether we will see the same production in the upcoming season? The nucleus of this team is still intact and remain very talented, so expect for them to rebound from a poor 2018. They will again be among one of the top teams selected in drafts, but we have seen how temperamental they were last season. However, the talent should mean they will be a quality unit worth starting most weeks and will providing you with fantasy points totals that could take you to a win.
