Jack Doyle In Danger Of Missing Week 4
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle (back) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday. Doyle will need to get in at least a limited practice on Friday to have a chance at playing in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins. If he cannot go, Mo Alie-Cox and rookie Ben Bredeson would likely split playing time at the tight end position, with Alie-Cox being the better sleeper play in DFS as a touchdown-dependent TE2. Through the first three games of the season, Doyle has 14 targets compared to six for Alie-Cox, and he's caught nine of his targets for 95 scoreless yards. Unless the Colts start throwing the ball more, it's hard to trust any of their tight ends on a weekly basis.
