Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin posted two more assists in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Washington Capitals, finishing with a plus-one rating and six shots on goal to tie a team high in the 5-0 win. Slavin has now recorded four apples through three games in the series. Center Jordan Staal also connected for two helpers, including one on the power play, while left wing Brock McGinn posted a goal, an assist and a plus-two rating in the win.
