Is Kyle Busch A Core Play In DFS This Weekend?
7 months agoOn Saturday morning, Kyle Busch qualified 10th for the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. When it was first announced that Busch would be making the move to Richard Childress Racing in 2023, there was a lot of optimism and excitement about what this pairing would accomplish together. After winning three races in his inaugural season with RCR, his most wins since 2019, these expectations skyrocketed as it looked like Rowdy would be among the top contenders for the 2024 title. Unfortunately for fans of the two-time Cup Series champion, the buzz is all but gone, as he has no victories and just two top-five finishes this season. For a team in desperate need of a momentum-swinging performance, Sunday's race could not come on a better track for KFB. In his two Cup starts at the former Gateway, Busch has a first and second-place finish, has led a series-high 187 laps, and is averaging 97.30 DraftKings points. At a salary of just $8,800 on DraftKings, on a track that he has been dominant on, and as a driver nearing desperation mode, Kyle Busch is a core play this weekend in DFS.
