5 years agoHideki Matsuyama will be making his seventh start at TPC Sawgrass this week. He has five top-25 finishes and one missed cut in his career at the Players. This season he ranks third on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: tee-to-green but is 198th in putting on the season. Last week he finished 56th but lost six strokes with the putter, so he continued his stellar play tee-to-green despite his poor finishing position. Matsuyama is still in the midst of a winning drought of over two years, but that is bound to come to an end soon. With his solid course history and elite play so far this year, he will be popular in his price range, and rightfully so.--LosingGolf
