Harrison Bader Out On Tuesday Due To Illness
Harrison Bader (illness) was scratched from the starting nine on Tuesday due to an illness. Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reported that it is possible Bader is deployed off the bench. Instead, Willi Castro will get the starting nod in left field and bat in the nine-hole. Bader is currently riding an impressive eight-game hitting streak. During this stretch, Bader has held a .429/.484/.536 slash line with three doubles, two RBI, and one stolen base. Prior to this streak, Bader held a modest .215/.311/.369 slash line over his first 24 games of the campaign. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to Wednesday's contest. This evening, Castro is worth a look in DFS as he will face Baltimore southpaw Cade Povich, who enters this game holding a 5.16 ERA.
