Harrison Bader Missing Another Game
Harrison Bader (finger) will miss Wednesday's series finale against the hosting Tampa Bay Rays. DaShawn Keirsey Jr. will make another start in center field and will bat in the nine-hole against Rays right-hander Drew Rasmussen. A sore finger will keep Bader out of action for a third straight game, although the injury isn't believed to be serious enough to send him to the injured list. The 30-year-old's next chance to get back into the lineup will be on Friday against the Seattle Mariners after a scheduled off day on Thursday. Before his finger injury, Bader had been handling starting duties in center with Byron Buxton (concussion) on the IL. Keirsey won't be a very attractive DFS play on Wednesday in the nine-hole. The 28-year-old left-handed hitter is also batting just .115 (7-for-61) with a homer, four RBI and five steals in limited playing time in 2025.
