Harrison Bader Exits After Being Hit By Pitch
1 year agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (back) left the game early on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels after being hit by a pitch in the back in the top of the sixth inning. Isiah Kiner-Falefa took over for Bader in center field. Until we get an update on Bader's status, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. With an off day on Thursday, Bader could return to the lineup on Friday against the visiting Kansas City Royals if his injury is minor. The 29-year-old can't seem to catch a break with injuries over recent seasons, and he's played in 49 games in 2023 in his first full year in the Bronx. Bader went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in Wednesday's game before leaving to drop his season average to .243 with a .698 OPS.
