1 month agoThe Detroit Tigers will recall starting pitcher Gregory Soto from Double-A Erie in order to start one of the games of a doubleheader against the Twins on Saturday, according to the Erie Times-News. The 24-year-old left-hander, the team's No. 26 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has a 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 8.8 K/9 in four starts with Erie and High-A Lakeland so far in 2019. It's likely to just be a spot start as the 26th man for the doubleheader, so fantasy owners can ignore Soto in his major league debut against a tough Twins lineup. The Dominican native has never pitched at Triple-A and has made just two starts with Erie this season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
