Giants Move AJ Pollock To 10-Day Injured List
1 year agoUpdating a previous report, the San Francisco Giants placed outfielder AJ Pollock (oblique) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with a left-oblique strain and recalled outfielder Heliot Ramos from Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move. Pollock injured his left oblique on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Angels and will now probably miss more than the 10 required days on the IL. The 35-year-old veteran has been pretty useless in fantasy leagues in 2023, hitting .165/.215/.308 with five home runs, 15 RBI and 15 runs scored in 133 at-bats. Pollock has gone hitless in six at-bats over five games since being acquired in a trade from the Seattle Mariners at the deadline. Pollock should be on the waiver wire in mixed fantasy leagues.
