Geoff Swaim On Track To Return From Concussion
3 years agoTennessee Titans tight end Geoff Swaim (concussion) was able to practice in full on Wednesday after he missed the Week 11 loss to the Houston Texans. Swaim will need to clear the final hurdles of the league's concussion protocol, but he appears to be well on his way to doing so in order to play this Sunday against the New England Patriots. He has the exact same number of receptions (19) as teammate Anthony Firkser on one fewer target (26) in 10 games this season and has scored two touchdowns while gaining 131 yards. The Titans could be in need of more pass-catchers with receivers Julio Jones (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (hamstring) on Injured Reserve and A.J. Brown (chest) questionable, but Swaim would still be a touchdown-dependent TE2 with Tennessee spreading the ball around to all over their tight ends -- MyCole Pruitt also has three touchdowns on 12 targets this year.
