Gardner Minshew II Has Pedestrian Day Despite Upset Win
3 months agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II led his team to an upset 26-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday but still put up pedestrian passing numbers en route to a mediocre fantasy performance. Minshew passed for 276 yards on 38 pass attempts and a touchdown but tossed an interception while rushing once for minus-1 yard on one attempt. He took five sacks and was under duress most of the game. Minshew is a solid veteran who can move the offense moderately effectively, but he's not a fantasy asset, and that's unlikely to change. However, the 28-year-old can be used as a streamer in a very favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 3.
