Falcons Defense Acquires Jonathan Cyprien
5 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons acquired safety Jonathan Cyprien and a 2020 seventh-round pick from the Eagles on Monday in exchange for linebacker Duke Riley and a 2020 sixth-round pick, according to sources. The Falcons lost starting safety Keanu Neal to another season-ending injury a week ago and were torched by the Titans and quarterback Marcus Mariota in Week 4, so they want to improve their secondary somehow. Cyprien's presence should help, but Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson and receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller could have bounce-back performances in Week 5.
