Ezekiel Elliott Getting His Explosiveness Back
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) said that he feels he's getting his explosiveness back. "That's definitely the best I've felt in a while. I'm starting to heal up. Last week I wore a knee brace and it helped a lot, giving me some stability. I definitely felt more comfortable," Elliott said. He will continue wearing the brace, but until we actually see it, Zeke will be more of an RB2 for fantasy managers. The 26-year-old has looked hobbled and has averaged just 3.30 yards per carry on 57 rushing attempts over the last five games. With Tony Pollard (foot) out in last week's win over the Washington Football Team, Elliott had only 12 carries for 45 yards (3.75 yards per carry). The good news is he'll be facing a New York Giants defense that's allowing 125 rushing yards per game, although Pollard could make his return this weekend.
