Ezekiel Elliott Expected To See 20-Plus Touches In Week 2
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had just 11 carries in the season-opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, but he's expected to get back to more of a normal workload in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Twenty touches is the hope for Elliott in this one, which will make fantasy managers much happier. Dallas faced a ferocious defensive front last week and were forced to the air most of the time in the second half, which kind of took Elliott out of the game plan. It was a tough opening week for those that have him rostered, but it's still early and fantasy managers shouldn't panic just yet. Elliott is a must-start and is on the board as a low-end RB1 this weekend.
