Evan Engram, Sterling Shepard On Week 17 Injury Report
4 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (ankle) and wide receiver Sterling Shepard (rib) were both among the players limited in practice on Wednesday, but they are both expected to play in the Week 17 must-win game against the division-rival Cowboys. Engram suffered his injury late in the Week 16 loss to the Ravens, so it's unclear how effective he'll be if he plays on Sunday. He had a healthy seven catches on 10 targets for 65 yards last week, though, and he should have TE1 upside if he suits up. Shepard found the end zone and led the team in receiving last week with nine catches for a season-high 77 yards. Against a Cowboys team allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to wideouts, Shepard could have another fine game for his fantasy managers as a WR3/flex. Shepard missed the first meeting with the Cowboys in 2020.
