Emiliano Grillo Looks to Continue Scorching Form
7 years agoEmiliano Grillo shot a bogey-free six-under 64 in his final round at the Fort Worth Invitational, placing him in third place. Despite the superb round, Grillo did not manage to gain any ground on the eventual champion Justin Rose, who also was a man on a mission all of Sunday. The 25-year-old Argentinian golfer gained an absurd 10.7 strokes putting through his four rounds of golf. Strokes gained putting is not usually a stat that can be counted on weekly, mostly to that level of dominance, so it will be interesting to see how Grillo fairs at the Memorial Tournament this weekend if his short stick falters even in the slightest. Grillo, who was owned last week at a rate of 24 percent in GPPs and a staggering 54 percent in cash games, will once again be one of the highest owned players on the board after his showing last week in Texas.
