Elijhaa Penny Agrees To Two-Year Deal
5 years agoThe New York Giants and restricted free-agent running back Elijhaa Penny agreed to a new two-year deal on Thursday, according to sources. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Penny has played in 46 career games and only has four career starts, but he is a strong run blocker and has good hands out of the backfield. The 26-year-old has just 53 carries for 188 yards and two touchdowns in his three seasons in the NFL, the last two with the G-Men. Penny is more useful as a blocker and on special teams, so he's unlikely to have any fantasy appeal in 2020.
