Dylan O'Rae Promoted To Double-A
6 months agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman prospect Dylan O'Rae was promoted to Double-A Biloxi on Tuesday. The 20-year-old hit .266 with a .405 OBP and led the Midwest League in stolen bases with 33 before his promotion. It didn't take long for him to record his first Double-A hit, as he took the first pitch he saw into left field for a single. Picking up right where he left off High-A, the speedster swiped a bag in the contest as well. The former third-round draft pick doesn't hit for power, as he's yet to record a minor league home run, but can hit for average and has tons of speed, further evidenced by his 44 steals last season. He's still a couple years away from the majors, but dynasty managers' ears should perk up when they hear about speed totals like that.
