Dylan Crews Hits First Triple-A Home Run
6 months agoWashington Nationals outfield prospect Dylan Crews made his Triple-A debut on Tuesday, and on Wednesday in his second game there, the former first-round draft pick recorded his first hit for Rochester. The hit was an opposite-field solo home run, although he's now just 1-for-10 to begin his Triple-A career. The 22-year-old was surging at Double-A before his promotion, hitting .292 since the beginning of May with 10 doubles, three triples, three home runs, and 13 stolen bases over 39 games. If he can continue to hit at Triple-A, it's not unreasonable to foresee him with the big league club before the year is out, despite having just been drafted in 2023.
