Drew Lock Finishes The Season Strong
4 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock had one of his best games of the season in the 32-31 Week 17 loss to the division-rival Raiders on Sunday, going 25-for-41 for a season-high 339 yards and two touchdowns. Lock didn't have any interceptions or fumbles, ending a streak of 11 straight games with a turnover. He finishes his first full season as the starting QB with 2,933 passing yards on 443 attempts, 16 touchdowns, 15 interceptions and three fumbles lost in 13 games. His completion percentage of 57.3 and QB rating of 75.4 were both down from 64.1 percent and 89.7, respectively, in his rookie season. The 24-year-old showed flashes but was mostly below-average, displaying poor accuracy and decision-making, which led to frequent turnovers. Lock could have competition under center in 2021, but it looks like general manager John Elway wants to see more. Heading into next fantasy season, Lock will be a low-end QB2 with a lot still left to prove.
