7/9:New York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German held the Toronto Blue Jays to just one run in six innings on Sunday. The Yanks ended up winning in extra innings, 2-1. German has pitched relatively well in his tenure as a starter since being moved to the rotation. His ERA does stand at an ugly 5.06, but he’s shown signs of turning it around his last three games. He also sports an impressive 86 strikeouts in 74 1/5 innings. German carries filthy stuff so it makes him an intriguing spot-start option for fantasy players. That said, players should tread lightly going forward, because his next start is against Francisco Lindor and the Cleveland Indians.--Mo Castillo - RotoBaller
