Dolphins Request to Interview Anthony Campanile for Head-Coaching Job
The Miami Dolphins requested to interview Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile for their head-coaching job, a source told Marcel Louis-Jacque of ESPN. Campanile spent three years as the Dolphins' linebackers coach under both Brian Flores and Mike McDaniel. Under Campanile in 2025, Jacksonville's defense ranked first in run defense and second in takeaways. Before joining the Jaguars, he was the linebackers coach for the Green Bay Packers in 2024. With the Packers, Campanile coached under new Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan, when Sullivan was the vice president of player personnel. Campanile is considered a leader of men, but he could be a long shot in Miami as the head coach because of his lack of previous head-coaching experience.
