Dolphins Haven't Met Texans Asking Price For Deshaun Watson
3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has only waived his full no-trade clause for the Miami Dolphins, but sources are saying that Miami's offer still does not meet the threshold to get a deal done. The Texans will not bend on their asking price for the Dolphins or any other team. The Dolphins apparently also want Watson's legal issues to be resolved before consummating any trade, which is unlikely to happen anytime soon. There has been a lot of smoke about Watson being dealt before next Tuesday's trade deadline, but a lot must still go down for that to happen. Until then, we must assume that Tua Tagovailoa will remain the Dolphins starting quarterback after throwing four touchdown passes in the Week 7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
