The Detroit Lions defense will line up in a favorable spot this Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers on the road. The Lions were rolling earlier this season, shutting down opposing offenses left and right en route to a strong record. However, a myriad of injuries on the defensive side of the ball has knocked down a once mighty unit. After not allowing an opposing offense to score 30 or more points through 13 weeks, they did so in two of their last three outings. Still, San Francisco is not the offensive juggernaut they once were and has afforded an average of 8.5 fantasy points per game to D/STs -- a bottom-half of the league figure. The 49ers have turned the ball over at least once in seven straight games. Detroit's D ranks as RotoBaller's D/ST14 ahead of Week 17's action.--Alex Ciulla
