Former Chicago Bears secondary coach Deshea Townsend, who was set to join the Minnesota Vikings staff, is now expected to land with the Jacksonville Jaguars under new head coach Doug Pederson, according to sources. Townsend never actually signed a deal with the Vikings and had a change of heart. He spent 13 seasons in the NFL as a cornerback and has had 11 seasons coaching defensive backs since retiring. Townsend has been with the Bears for the last three seasons and was key in developing one of the best passing defenses in the league in 2021. The Jaguars defense was around the middle of the pack with 227.9 passing yards allowed per game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
