Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin finished second in Sunday's Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Hamlin started in the 15th position and slowly inched his way to the front. Hamlin would lead six laps, at the beginning of the final stage, but then lost the lead on the ensuing restart to Kevin Harvick. After being shuffled back a little bit, Hamlin struggled to get around his teammate, Martin Truex Jr., and ultimately did not have enough time to pass Harvick for the win. Hamlin will look to match Harvick in Cup wins, as the series heads to Daytona for the first-ever Cup race on the road course layout.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
