Dennis Smith Jr. Flirts With A Triple-Double
7 years agoDallas Maverick point guard Dennis Smith Jr. led his team in scoring on Tuesday night, scoring 18 points on a solid 8-for-16 shooting, including two three-pointers made in the big win over Portland. Smith was very effective in this one and nearly notched another triple-double on his rookie season, finishing with eight rebounds and eight assists on the night. He also was able to snatch away two steals in the contest while keeping his turnovers low, as he only committed one in his 28 minutes of action. DSJ has been very reliable for the Mavs in the last few weeks and it is all but written in stone that he will be a member of the All-Rookie first team when all is said and done. Keep deploying the promising prospect with confidence.
