Free-agent guard Dennis Schroder has agreed to a one-year deal with the Celtics. Schroder turned down $84 million from his previous employer, the Lakers, earlier in the year. Instead, he will now be suiting up for the mid-level exception worth $5.9 million, a fraction of what he would have made in Los Angeles. Nonetheless, the 27-year-old is a capable producer and averaged 15.4 points, 5.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds last season. Even if Schroder comes off the bench in Boston, he has the potential to make a difference on the fantasy end.
