Demario Davis 2022 NFL Player Outlook: New Orleans Defensive Anchor
2 years agoNew Orleans Saints inside linebacker Demario Davis is going into the 11th season of his career and his fifth with the team. It seems as Davis gets older, he gets better and better. He's made an All-Pro team in the last three seasons, making the first team in 2019. At 33, the All-Pro linebacker is one of the best linebackers in the league. He finished 2021 leading the team in tackles (107) and solo tackles (70) and ranked third in the league in tackles for loss (13). Although he turns 34 this season, age could be a factor, but he has proved that age is just a number. In fantasy leagues with individual defensive players, the veteran linebacker remains the anchor of New Orleans' defense. Davis is a player that every fantasy team manager should consider drafting as one of their starters.
