Demarcus Robinson Cleared To Practice Friday
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, who was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday because of a close contact with a barber who tested positive for the virus, has been cleared to practice on Friday, according to a source. Robinson has tested negative for COVID-19 every day this week and is now eligible to play in Super Bowl LV against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The 26-year-old didn't have a single target in the win over the Bills in the AFC Championship, and he caught just one pass for 14 yards in the Divisional Round win over the Browns. Robinson had 45 receptions for 466 yards and three touchdowns in 16 regular season games, but he's just a deep DFS sleeper for the Super Bowl. He's also more unattractive with Sammy Watkins (calf) likely to make his first postseason appearance this season.
