Former two-time flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo suffered a second-round TKO loss to former interim bantamweight title challenger Cory Sandhagen in the main event of UFC Des Moines on Saturday. Figueiredo had problems with closing the distance and with Sandhagen's reach. Former champion Figueiredo was dominated for the majority of the fight, up until the referee jumped in to stop the fight due to Figueiredo's knee injury.
