Deebo Samuel, Tevin Coleman Miss Practice
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and running back Tevin Coleman (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. It's not a great start for either player after they had some extra time to heal up following the team's Week 9 blowout loss to the Packers last Thursday. Samuel is no longer on the COVID-19 list as a high-risk close contact, but he's highly questionable to play in Week 10 against the Saints after already missing five games due to various injuries. Rookie Brandon Aiyuk could see a heavy target load if Samuel misses another game in a contest in which San Fran could need to throw often against a high-scoring New Orleans team. Coleman has missed six of his last seven games with a knee injury and isn't expected to play this Sunday. Raheem Mostert (ankle) has already been ruled out, too, so this backfield will once again be shared by Jerick McKinnon and rookie JaMycal Hasty.
