David Peralta Walks Off For Diamondbacks
6 years agoIn his third game back after a stint on the 10-day Injured List, Arizona Diamondbacks David Peralta (shoulder) singled in the game-winning run in the 11th inning of a 3-2 victory over the Dodgers on Wednesday. Peralta went 2-for-5 with two RBI on the night, his first two hits since his return to the lineup on Monday. The left-handed Peralta has been fantastic against right-handed pitching this year, slashing .316/.355/.571 going into Wednesday's game. Meanwhile, he's been surprisingly adequate against lefties, slashing .262/.338/.369. His numbers against left-handers really held him back last season when he had a .237 batting average against left-handed pitching. He should be owned and started in most leagues.
