Boston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak has signed an eight-year, $90 million contract with the team on Thursday. The deal carries an average annual value of $11.25 million and keeps Pastrnak signed through the 2030-31 season. The 26-year-old is in the final year of his contract and could have become an unrestricted free agent after the season. Pastrnak is putting together another terrific season to lead the Bruins in goals (42), assists (38), and points (80) through 60 games, while reaching the 40-goal mark for the second consecutive season and third time in four years. Pastrnak ranks second to Oilers center Connor McDavid in the NHL's goal scoring race and is on his way to surpassing the 50-goal mark for the first time in his career as one of the best players at his position for all fantasy formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
