7 years agoBoston Bruins forward David Pastrnak led the Bruins resurgence in a come-from-behind win over the Carolina Hurricanes 6-4 on Tuesday night. Boston trailed by a score of 4-1 one minute into the third period before turning on their offensive production and scoring five unanswered goals to end the game, with David Pastrnak’s first career hat trick being the largest contributor to the score sheet. The 21-year-old also assisted on linemate Brad Marchand’s opening goal in the first period, bringing his total this season to 68 points in 68 games played. The Bruins are showing that they are able to produce and win down the stretch, even without top-line center Patrice Bergeron (foot). Pastrnak has solidified himself among the NHL’s elite forwards alongside Marchand. With his point-per-game pace this season and the Bruins busy schedule through the end of the season, ensure Pastrnak is in your lineup on the nights when the young forward and the Bruins play, especially on Thursday when Boston faces the defensively-challenged Florida Panthers.--Alex McKenzie
