David Johnson Questionable To Play Against Indy
3 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson (illness, thigh) missed practice all week and is questionable to play in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts. Already a low-upside RB3/flex in fantasy while sharing touches in the backfield with Rex Burkhead in one of the weakest offenses in football, Johnson is even more unattractive now that he's dealing with an illness and thigh injury. If the 29-year-old is ruled inactive on Sunday morning, Burkhead would have low-end RB2 upside for the expected increase in volume alone, although the Colts defense has also allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to RBs in the last three weeks. Royce Freeman would have a bigger workload next to Burkhead if Johnson is out, but he won't have any standalone fantasy appeal.
