Davante Adams Not Optimistic About Playing Monday
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (toe) doesn't sound optimistic about playing on Monday night against the Lions. The team does not want Adams to aggravate his turf toe and jeopardize the rest of the season. "It doesn't feel how I want it to feel at the moment," Adams said. Especially with the game being on Monday night, you should plan to be without Adams for the second straight game. That means that Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison will work as the top two receivers again, although they didn't take advantage last week for those that used them as streamer flexes. Tight end Jimmy Graham might see more looks, but this could easily be another game where the Packers ride Aaron Jones and possibly Jamaal Williams if he returns from his concussion.
