Philadelphia Eagles defensive back Darius Slay has been granted permission to seek a trade. The organization is still hopeful to get a deal done, but it seems likely that the two sides split this offseason. The release of Slay would with a dead cap hit of $21.265 million, but they could save $4 million with a pre-June 1st cut. The 32-year-old remains one of the better defensive backs in the league. He earned his second straight Pro Bowl selection this past season with a PFF pass coverage grade of 77.3. There should be plenty of trade partners for Slay if the Eagles do eventually move him.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerRead More News
