Dante Exum Returns To NBA, Signs For Mavericks
1 year agoThe Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a one-year contract with former No. 5 draft pick Dante Exum. He is signing a guaranteed deal for a veteran minimum salary. Exum was drafted by Utah back in 2014 and he last suited up for Cleveland in the NBA three seasons ago. The Australian guard suffered some horrible injuries during his time in the league, but he has since then rebuilt his career in Europe, playing for Barcelona and Partizan. The 27-year-old averaged 13.2 points in 23.0 minutes for the Serbian team in the EuroLeague last season. Exum will compete for the backup guard minutes in Dallas behind Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
