Daniel Murphy Homers in Rehab Game with Double-A Harrisburg
7 years agoWorking his way back from offseason knee surgery, Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy went 2-for-3 with two walks and a home run with the Double-A Harrisburg Senators on Friday. Since beginning his rehab assignment, Murphy is hitting .265 with an .890 OPS over 36 plate appearances with the Senators. While there is still uncertainty as to just when he will make his 2018 debut with the Nationals, this is a good sign that Murphy won't have a problem producing at the plate once he returns.
