Daniel Jones Won't Let New Contract Change Him
2 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones signed a four-year, $160 million contract in March. Yet, despite the lucrative deal, the signal-caller won't let pressure get the best of him. "I think to me, it doesn't change anything I'm doing, it doesn't change my routine or how I'm going to go about my work or my business," Jones said. "That's the same." The 26-year-old is coming off arguably the most productive season of his career, finishing the 2022 campaign by throwing for 3,205 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions while completing 67.2% of his attempts. He added 708 yards off 120 carries and found the end zone seven times on the ground. With Brian Daboll at the helm for the Giants, one of the best offensive minds in the NFL, Jones could be even more potent statistically. However, he has a way to go before being considered an elite fantasy quarterback.
