Daniel Bellinger's Status Uncertain For Rest Of Season
2 years agoNew York Giants rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger (eye) will have surgery this week on his fractured eye socket, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Bellinger will be out indefinitely, and it's unclear if he'll play again this year. The 22-year-old fractured his eye socket in the Week 7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, a tough break for a rookie that was starting to become a bigger weapon in the passing game for quarterback Daniel Jones. Bellinger can probably be dropped in single-year fantasy leagues, but he needs to remain stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues, even if he doesn't play again in 2022. With Bellinger out for the foreseeable future, Chris Myarick and Tanner Hudson will be in line for more playing time at the tight end position in New York.
