Dan Straily Removed From Rotation
Dan Straily has been removed from the starting rotation and will be available in relief starting on Saturday. Manager Brandon Hyde is hoping that Straily can perform better in short spurts, and there's a chance he can work his way back into the rotation. The 30-year-old has been the least effective starter in the majors this year, going 1-4 with a 9.09 ERA, 1.99 WHIP, 18 strikeouts, 17 walks and 14 home runs allowed in 34 2/3 innings over nine outings (eight starts). If you were holding him in a deep AL-only league, you can let go of him now.
