The Dallas Cowboys acquired former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin in exchange for their sixth-round pick (192 overall) in the 2018 draft. Not long after he was acquired, it was reported that the Cowboys see Austin as a running back and not as a wide receiver. A former first-round pick, Austin always looks like he can be a playmaker but never makes the plays on the field. Despite joining a team with a very paltry wide receiver depth chart, Austin will be used in a backfield role much like the one Lance Dunbar occupied a few seasons ago. Austin is no threat to Ezekiel Elliott's status as a bell-cow back and will likely offer very little fantasy value in 2018.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
