Courtland Sutton Should Have Bigger Role In Week 2
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton played 80.3 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 win over the New York Giants, which was tops among the team's wideouts. That was good news in his first game back after tearing his ACL in Week 2 of last season. However, he finished with just one catch on three targets for 14 yards. It's not a surprise that Sutton was quiet to kick off the year, but will he get on track in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars? Jerry Jeudy is out four to six weeks with a high ankle sprain, so Sutton and tight end Noah Fant should be the top two targets in the passing game for the foreseeable future. Sutton could remain a bit slow off the blocks this weekend, but he should begin to command a much bigger target share. Fantasy managers should consider him a WR3/flex with upside against Jacksonville.
